I’m Alexis. I don’t cook. I come from a long line of women who don’t cook.

Except now I’m learning. (And my sister is, too, though that’s a completely separate story.)

I’m cooking based off tried and true recipes and telling you my thoughts.

My kitchen is well stocked because my husband likes to cook and bake. He’s also the one who helps me with recipes. Like, what does “golden brown” mean? What does “stiff peaks” mean?

I’m writing this for myself, to keep notes of my thoughts as I bake through different recipes. And to stop spamming my friends on Facebook.
